Özlem Ercantan was born in Nicosia, Cyprus. She received her BSc degree in Biology from the Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey in the year 1992 and her MBA degree in Business Administration from the Eastern Mediterranean University, Famagusta, North Cyprus, in the year 1996. She received her Ph.D. degree in Business Administration from the Near East University, Nicosia, North Cyprus, in 2022. She started teaching at Near East University in 2015 as a full-time instructor and a full-time member of staff at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and Department of Business Administration in 2017. In 2023, she became an assistant professor at the Department of Business Administration. Since 2023, she serves as the Quality Representative in the Quality Accreditation Coordination of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Near East University. Her research interests include green human resource management, leadership, corporate social responsibility and business ethics. She has many internationally published articles as well as proceeding articles and has reviewed for various international journals.
