An event on “Sustainability and Sustainability Reporting,” organized by the Near East University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was held on Monday, 5 October 2026, from 14:30 to 15:30 in the Faculty Meeting Room. The event, attended by the faculty’s academic staff and students, drew keen interest.

Dr. Sezin Baysal Berkap, a sustainability reporting expert and academic who spoke at the event, shared her knowledge and experience with participants on the concept of sustainability, its growing importance for organizations today, and current approaches to sustainability reporting.

Bringing theoretical knowledge together with practical experience, the event gave academics an opportunity to assess current developments in the field and exchange ideas. It also helped students build awareness of sustainability and reporting, areas of growing importance in the business world.
