Dr. Zübeyir Can Kansel was born in 1995. He completed his bachelor's degree in Econometrics at Çukurova University in 2017, followed by a master's degree in Economics from Anadolu University in 2019. He continued his academic journey and completed his PhD in Economics at Near East University in 2026. During the 2025-2026 academic year, he joined Near East University as a part-time lecturer, teaching courses such as Econometrics, Public Finance, European Economics, History of Economic Thought, and Industrial Economics and Management. Dr. Kansel's research focuses on sustainable development, energy transition, and trade balance, with his work published in internationally peer-reviewed journals such as Sustainability and Financial Studies. Dr. Kansel continues to expand his academic engagement through participation in international conferences and seminars in 2018 and 2025.
