Dr. Emine Eminel Sülün is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Near East University in Nicosia. Her research specializes in energy and geopolitics in the Mediterranean region. She has provided research consultancy for the PRIO Cyprus Centre and collaborated with various international research institutes. Dr. Sülün has also authored numerous policy reports on energy affairs and geopolitics in the Eastern Mediterranean. She earned her Ph.D. in International Relations from Middle East Technical University (METU) in Ankara, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Sociology. Additionally, she holds an MA in International Politics from the University of Bath, UK.
