Ayşe Gözde Karaatmaca was born in 1979 in Ankara, Turkey. She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2002, and completed her master's degree in Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2006. In 2002, She started working as a Research Assistant at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations. Between 2003 and 2013, She worked as a Research Assistant at Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations. She completed her doctorate in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations (Management and Labor Psychology) in 2014. She received the title of Assistant Professor in 2015 and was appointed Chair of the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2014 and 2016. She started working full-time at the Near East University Department of Business Administration in 2016 and has been the Head of Department of International Business since 2021. She is the mother of two children.
