AlKatheri was born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 1997. He graduated as the faculty valedictorian from Near East University's Department of International Relations in 2023. He then earned his Master's degree in International Relations from the Near East University in 2025. His thesis was titled "Trajectories of Islamist Movements in the Post-Arab Uprisings: Case Studies of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and Al-Nahda in Tunisia." Since 2023, he has worked as a Faculty Assistant, teaching courses in the International Relations and Political Science departments. He also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Near East Institute and an Editorial Assistant for the Near East University Journal of Social Sciences. He is currently pursuing a PhD in International Relations and Political Science and is involved in several research projects. His key interests include comparative politics, Middle East politics, and political Islam.
